Right now, all the action is inside at Solons Alley Residences. The White Oak wood floors are being finished in place, meaning the wood is not prefinished. The wood floors extend through the main living areas and onto the stairs. Kitchen cabinet installation is also underway, and the Walnut horizontal-grain slab doors look sharp. Nar Fine Carpentry supplies the cabinets.

The handcrafted counters are concrete in two colors, white on the island in the kitchen and charcoal on the back counters. Other details include the handrails and stair wall caps made of vertical-grain Douglas Fir to complement the window frames.

While we are happy to see the rain, we are hoping for a few dry days to get going on the landscaping and alley repairs.
