Solons Alley homes are just off of S Street between 28th and 29th, and there is a lot to love about this neighborhood. Officially known as Newton Booth, area charms include long-standing Bungalow homes and established businesses alongside modern conveniences. From Solons Alley, walk across the street for coffee or tea at Temple Roasters. Revolution Wines is next door. Around the corner on 29th is Pushkin’s Bakery, and we vouch for the tastiness of the baked goods. Neighborhood activities include The Yoga Practice on 29th and Figure 8 Fitness studio on 28th. Or you can just walk or bike to wherever you wish to go in Midtown or Downtown or near the river.
The new Co-Op is going up across the street, so you may never need to leave the neighborhood. But if you do, the 29th Street Light Rail station is nearby.
The McClatchy Library is just a few blocks away on 22nd, and it is surrounded by some of the most spectacular homes in Sacramento. A stroll down the shady streets in this part of town will ease any care in the world. And it’s all a stone’s throw away.
